My Journey Through Life

Hello Guys!

Here I am again, searching for something else to do than my thesis! Today we're back with a Trend Check, this time rose Suede Jackets!

I bought one myself two months ago and I really like it! It's perfect for sunny but fresh spring days. I like to combine it with a simple white Shirt and black or blue Jeans as well as white shoes. I also have used the jacket with a mesh black top and black Jeans as well as a pair of sneakers in the same colour as the jacket. Here you can see some streetstyles:

Unfortunately, Polyvore is down... That means that there won't be any more sets whilst I don't find a page that is as good as polyvore was (#petitiontobringpolyvoreback)

But well, the alternative I found instead of sets is a rotating widget with some examples of the type of clothes I would style it. I hope you like it, and if yes (or if not!) please leave a comment! :)

Hey guys!

I'm finally back with a new trend check! I'm sorry it took me so long, have been a bit busy (and mostly lazy 😶) but here we are with the newest trend check about wine red or red ankle booties in general. A few weeks ago I bought some wine red ones myself, that's why I'm soooo into this trend and definitely had to do a post about it. It's not that red ankle booties can be found in nearly every store, they're also all over magazines and instagram.

Here you can have a look on some inspirational outfits I found:

here you have some outfits for winter or coulder autumn days. As you can see in the second outfits, it is possible to combine red and green!

Here you have some styles with jeans for more casual days and spring & summer

Ankle botties can also be combined to skirts, dresses & culottes and as you can see, it looks super chic when combining something in the same red with your booties

Gigi Hadid, Taylor Swift and Jessica Alba

And like always, here are three sets I put together with affordable outfits
(Actually, these are similar outfits to the ones I wore myself with my wine red booties)

Here we have another Trend-Check, this time Culottes! You can see lots of celebrities wearing them, here I've just seen one woman wearing them. If you style them well, they can still look really ladylike even being large. Just have a look here on some inspiration:

In spring and fall or on a less freezing winter day, you can wear them only with a scarf and sweater. You see, it doesn't look bulky!

If it's colder, even a coat or Blazer looks good without looking massive.

We Wore What Blogger Danielle Bernstein loves culottes; here are jsut some of her looks:

A very simple and often used look is black and white or/and printed crop tops to simple culottes.

Here some more outfit ideas with blouses and to make your legs look long even with the short cutting culottes: high heels!

hey guys!
Once again, sorry for not posting the last weeks! I was working and on vacations....
But hre I am with a new Trend Check, this time The Ponchos!

I don't know how the weather is where you live, but here it's getting colder and colder (summer please stay!). Since Burberry launched their Burberry Poncho with the initials of the Models/It-Girls more shops are imitating the ponchos. There are lots of different styles and materials they are mode of, doesn't matter if it's wool or cashmere.

Lots of Streetstyler and models wear them now that it's getting colder by just throwing them over. here you can see some different styles I put together from searching in the internet:

Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung were one of the first to have the Burberry ponchos.

You can wear them with Jeans or other pants - but the best is to wear heels with them, since the ponchos make you look a bit smaller.

You can also wear your favourite dress and throw the poncho over, when it's cold outside

A lot of fashionistas wear them with high-knees!

Here I out some sets together with outfits with clothes under $50!

Poncho: H&M ($38)
Dress: Glamourous ($40)
Boots: Sheinside ($42)
Bag: Kate Spade via Renttherunway ($30)
Necklace: Shopdandylionboutique ($10)
Rings: Kohl's ($12)

Poncho: Only ($27)
Jumpsuit: H&M ($18)
High Knees: Cicihot ($55)
Bag: REbecca Minkoff via Renttherunway ($30)
Rings: Forever21 ($6)
Earrings: Overstock ($25)

Poncho: H&M ($45)
Crop Top: New Look ($17)
Skirt: Pink Queen ($10)
High Knees: Urbanog ($48, available in black, taupe, tan and berry)
Bag: H&M ($45)

Poncho: Wetseal ($27)
Turtleneck: H&M ($22)
Jeans: New Look ($17)
Shoes: Wetseal ($35)
Bag: Venus ($29)

I hope you like it! I'll try to post more the next days. The next post will be a travel post again. But I'm still trying to figure out which one to tell you about: Vienna, Berlin or Rome. Tell me in the comments!
- xoxo Sara

Hey guys!
Yeees, I'm back with a trendcheck: The Birkenstocks. I don't know about you but I've seen some people in the city wearing them and if you have a look at blogs and some streetstyler, you can very often see this very comfy sandals. They're perfect for summer days or at least pretty warm days. If it's just a way to the market, going shopping with your friends, or at the beach, you can wear them nearly everywhere!
Just check this blogger out and get inspired!

And here are three sets I made. You can check them out here, here and here.

Hey Guys!
Yes, I'm finally back with my Trend Check. First of all I wanna say sorry for not posting a lot, I hope I can change this fact :)
Now we're gonna go to the stripes. The "Marine-Trend" is back, if you haven't noticed it already. It doesn't matter where you are - beach, supermarket, at your job - the stripe shirts are everywhere! They're pretty casual and a have-to for every woman! Not only is there the typical blue-white stripe shirt, but the new Hype: red stripes! If you don't wanna be "usual" use this trend or be more radical: neon colours are also possible. But you have to consider not to be over-the-top by using too much colour-blocking ;)
Here are some stars and streetstyler which adore wearing stripes, so that you can inspire by their outfits:

Taylor Swift is probably the best-known stripe lover among the stars!

Also Alexa Chung, Clémence Poésy(with her enviable unfailable french-style), Kim Kardashian-West & Miranda Kerr sometimes stick to the casual look by using a stripe Tee

 Duchess Kate

And here are some sets I made for you guys. I hope you like them ;)
